French Polynesia

Escape to a world where....

Crystal clear lagoons roll into white sand beaches.

You'll discover a myriad of colourful marine species nestled in pristine coral reefs.

Colours paint the sky as the sun makes its way over water to the meet the horizon.

It's possible to swim alongside whales in the open ocean.

You can wake up in an Overwater Bungalow and begin your day by diving straight into the refreshing lagoon.

An anbundance of juicy fruit is picked fresh and sumptuous fish is caught daily from the ocean.

Life slows, a Polynesian sense of calm washes over you and daydreaming is a perfectly acceptable way to pass time.

Forget about the real world and lose yourself in the island life of French Polynesia.

French Polynesia is made up of 118 islands in five archipelagos. We visited two of the Windward Islands in The Society archipelago - Tahiti and Moorea. We spent the majority of our time on Moorea, as the landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, it was an easy distance from the capital of Papeete and the destination still felt relatively authentic compared to some of the more touristy islands of Tahiti and Bora Bora.
