French Polynesia is made up of 118 islands in five archipelagos. We visited two of the Windward Islands in The Society archipelago - Tahiti and Moorea. We spent the majority of our time on Moorea, as the landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, it was an easy distance from the capital of Papeete and the destination still felt relatively authentic compared to some of the more touristy islands of Tahiti and Bora Bora.
