Eco-accommodation in the heart of the Bungle Bungle

The Bungle Bungle has to be the most under-rated icon of the Kimberley. Very few travellers are lucky enough to visit the Bungle Bungle, which was only discovered by tourists in 1983. Since then, the park has earned a place on the World Heritage list and very rightly so.

Home to magnificent red rock gorges in the north, fascinating crevasses and chasms, famed beehive-shaped domes and rock formations featuring orchestra-quality acoustics.

A visit to the Bungle Bungle is full of adventure, with days' worth of walks and activities to do. It would not be enough to only spend the day there, so I'd definitely recommend staying at least a night or two.

Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge

Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge offers dinner, bed and breakfast packages in hard-walled cabins. The eco-rated cabins feature a private ensuite with heated shower and normal flushing toilet, hotel-quality bedding, power for charging your devices, fans and wall-mounted lighting.

The lodge is located in the heart of Purnululu National Park and features the only pool in the park - ideal for relaxing in after a day exploring the range. As the sun goes down, there is the licensed 'Bungles Bar' and alfresco dining area where you can enjoy a wine by the outdoor fire pit. Dine under the stars while indulging in a two-course chef-prepared meal, infused with native herbs and spices.
